After interviewing Howard Stern on her own talk show last week, Katie Couric appeared on the Howard Stern Show on Tuesday. Couric talked about the ongoing controversy on “The Today Show,” admitted her initial crush on Matt Lauer and talked about what it was like to interview Sarah Palin.

Howard Stern Show writer Richard Christy will take a free beer however he can get it. Tuesday morning, he participated in the Show’s first ever “Butt Chug Challenge” during which he sampled six different beers by having them poured into his butthole by JD Harmeyer. Christy then attempted to identify the beer based on the texture.

Debbie the Pet Lady has been rockin the airwaves since long before she became a Howard Stern Show Wack Packer.
Check out Debbie as the defendant on a particularly special episode of “The People’s Court“. Although the episode isn’t dated, the presiding judge is Judge Gerry Sheindlin, who ruled over the court for only one season, 1999-2000.

Natalie Maines returned to the Howard Stern Show on Tuesday and talked about her relationship with her fellow “Dixie Chicks” following the disintegration of the group since Maines spoke out against then President George W. Bush almost ten years ago.
Maines is doing four shows with the Dixie Chicks this summer, but during her last Howard Stern Show interview, she admitted that she was really only doing it because the other women in the group were desperate for cash. Howard Stern pointed out Tuesday that Maines’ two fellow Dixie Chicks recently released an album that only sold 200,000 copies. Maines was diplomatic about the failure and dodged the question when Stern asked her if she was secretly thrilled by their failure.
